About Voices of Serenity

Advocating With Heart. Engaging With Purpose.

Voices of Serenity is a personal mission shaped by compassion, lived experience, and an unwavering belief that people with developmental disabilities deserve to be seen, valued, supported, and meaningfully connected to their communities.

Why VOS Began

Founded by Anastasia Antoinette—a mother, advocate, wellness coach, author, and healthcare professional—Voices of Serenity grew from a promise rooted in the life and light of her sister, who was born with intellectual disabilities.

Her sister’s joy, warmth, and spirit left a lasting legacy. After her passing in August 2020, Anastasia turned grief into purpose and created Voices of Serenity to help adults with developmental disabilities experience dignity, choice, community, and genuine belonging.

Through intentional outings, enrichment, connection, and advocacy, VOS creates space for people to explore independence, build confidence, strengthen skills, and participate meaningfully in community life.

Supporting the People—and Strengthening the Systems Around Them

Voices of Serenity began with a commitment to ensuring that individuals with developmental disabilities are seen, heard, supported, and meaningfully connected to their communities.

That same commitment revealed another need: provider organizations and frontline staff also deserve guidance, structure, encouragement, and practical assistance.

When DSPs understand their responsibilities, when leaders can identify patterns, and when documentation accurately reflects the services delivered, the entire support system becomes stronger.

VOS Provider Support was developed to help organizations protect the quality of their work without losing the heart behind it.

Person First

Every service and system should preserve dignity, voice, choice, and meaningful outcomes.

Clear Support

Compassion works best alongside structure, dependable communication, and practical follow-through.

Sustainable Growth

VOS helps people and organizations build habits that last beyond a single correction or event.
